I believe in tougher penalties for the crime of Criminal Domestic Violence as South Carolina ranks #2 in the United States in the rate of women killed by men. For the 17th year in a row, South Carolina has ranked in the top 10 states for the rate of women murdered by men. Much work remains to be done to stop the epidemic of violence against women.
